Shannon Hunter Segment Producer

Shannon brings more than a decade of television production experience to the Around Town TV team. Currently, she is the Special Projects Producer at the community media station, CTV North Suburbs. She produces a variety of video productions for local non-profit organizations. She also produces a weekly news program, The North Suburban Beat. One of her volunteer hosts is none other than Carla Beaurline. Shannon is an award-winning editor whose honors include an Emmy, Telly and others. In her free time, you can find her busy working on her first feature-length documentary.

Brenda Torre, a graduate of the College of St. Catherine and the American University of Paris, built her career in the beauty industry doing make-up and hair for print, fi lm, video and runway. Brenda has a client list that includes rap artists, movie stars, top models, television personalities, comedians, news anchors, best-selling authors, pageant winners, Broadway headliners, athletes, and politicians. Her work has been seen on the big and small screens, the theater stage, runways, billboards, CD covers, book covers, and in many newspapers and magazines.
